Q-Potato will continue in organic products after merger as well.

ATF Potato BV in Lemmer and Q-Potato Holland BV in Rutten will merge, reports "Boeren Business". They will operate from now on under the name Q-Potato Holland BV. The reason for the merger is a drive towards professionalization. Q-Potato Director Dirk van de Water offered additional commentary in this article. Dirk expects growth in sweet potatoes, as well as in free seed potato varieties. In the interview, he also provides more detail about the company's plans in organic products. “In addition to conventional production, we are also organically certified. Right now, we already supply organic vegetables on a modest scale, including parsnips, red beets and carrots. We definitely want to get more involved in this line of business. In collaboration with Yellow Chips, a company based in Emmeloord, we supply raw materials for vegetable chips. Ultimately, you look for diversification. In part to reduce risk. There are always opportunities in the market. We are sure of that. As a small player we try to get a little piece of the action”, says Dirk.
